Job Summary:
Work within the multi-disciplinary team (MDT), providing a comprehensive physical, psycho-social and spiritual care to patients admitted to the In-Patient floors and their families. To participate as a member of the nursing team carrying out all relevant forms of care in conjunction with other team members. Regularly to have responsibility for managing the nursing care delivery on specified shifts.
Responsibilities and duties:

Create an exit report at the end of the shift.
· Refer to all patients with the previous shift nurse.
· Provide
direct care to assigned patients.
· Take the nursing history, summarize data and establish nursing diagnoses/patient care needs.
· Observing and recording signs, symptoms and behaviors, including the physiological state of patients.
· Provide specific nursing interventions to assigned patients
consistent with established methodology medical plan of care.
· Perform
admission, discharge and transfer procedures and assist others in patient activities and care.
·
Execute physician's orders for all assigned patients; appropriately and well administer medications and
treatments.
· Perform or help others to carry out right aseptic techniques, isolation procedures,
and infection control measures.
·
Document nursing care in all assigned affected
person information.
· Maintain affected person's privateness and confidentiality of data and information in any respect times.
· Evaluate the care provided, including the patient's response.
· Demonstrate capacity to evaluate affected person's know-how of and compliance with instructions.
· Establish dedicated clinical pathways in collaboration with the Ministry of Education for administration
specific conditions in the unit.

Educational Responsibilities:
Under
the course of the pinnacle nurse & Clinical instructor, the nurse will:

Contribute to the identity of schooling desires pertinent to the medical area.

Participate in the clinical orientation of all new nurses and assistants.
·
Develop management capacity on the way to act as an powerful position model.
·
Assume duty for very own studying and improvement desires.
·
Attend all required in-services training
programs.
·
Keep updated with obligatory schooling consisting of Basic Life Support (BLS).
Communication and Interpersonal skills:

Maintain professional appearance and dress

Education:
·
B.S.N,
Technical institute of nursing or credential in nursing.
Experience:
·
1 years’
experience in Med/Surgical Department is preferable.
Training:
·
Must be
registered with the Egyptian Syndicate or Nursing Council/Association of
country of origin.
·
Must
attend 50 hrs. of mandatory in-service training in a contractual year.
·
Uphold
