Responsibilities and duties:

Instructor: -

Facilitator:

Management Responsibilities:

·       Ensure the implementation of hospital policies and procedures.

·       Assist supervisors by supporting their efforts in daily clinical rounds.

·       Make decisions that directly affect clinical practice in Nursing.

·       Support the development of professional accountability within the team to enable effective clinical governance.

·       Assist management to realize management objectives.

·       Undertake clinical interventions in emergency situations.

·       Liaise with support services to co-ordinate training plans for other health care personnel (HCA & other Non-Nursing Personnel).

Education:

           ·       BSN required, MSN preferred.

·       A BSN Degree in Nursing may be substituted by 10 years of clinical experience.

Experience:

·       Work requires 3 years of applied clinical experience as an RN or as a Clinical Instructor.

·       Or an equal aggregate of applicable training and / or experience.

Communication and Interpersonal skills:

·       Have the ability to liaise and communicate effectively with all departments.

·       Liaise and coordinate service and plans with CNO on a daily basis.

·       Submit daily report to the Education Manager.

·       Submit monthly report of department activities to Education Manager.

·       Basic Computer Skills in Microsoft Office, net and expertise of Audiovisual Equipment.
